South Western Boxer Club Championship Show 11.11.17

In agreement with the bitch judge Maureen Wragg, “Skelly” then went on to win his 8th Championship Show Best Puppy In Breed / Show award. More details of his wins with pictures are on my Facebook page.2017 A Vintage Year So Far!

Well I didn't do too well keeping the news page up to date during 2016 so lets hope 2017 will be better.Kicking Off 2016
Well it has been a great start to the new year with Ch Walkon Hey No Issue At Norwatch Sunhawk gaining his third and qualifying CC at CRUFTS, no less, under breed specialist Stuart Lockwood-Brown. "Scotty is our 27th Champion and thanks must go to Helen Banks his co-owner for piloting him to his Champions title.
Rounding off 2015!
I must apologise to my regular reader for not keeping the website up to date and hope to do so this coming year. We cannot let 2015 pass without mentioning some of the highlights! Ch Walkon Okay Dokay With Lanfrese -"Gavin" finished 2015 as Top Sire & Dog World's Top Sire in the Working Group for myself and his co-owner Mitch Griffiths.Kicking Off 2015!
2015 got off to a good start with Ch Walkon Okay Dokay With Lanfrese -"Gavin" winning his 7th CC and Best In Show at the Midland Boxer Club Show. The following week it was off to Coventry for the annual Boxer Event where Gavin and Ch Walkon First Past The Post had qualified, among the top 12 males of 2014, for the Dog Of The Year and Walkon First Impression & Walkon First Class had qualified for the Pup Of The Year. Unfortunately despite being the top qualifier First impression was unable to attend but Walkon First Class got down to the final four.A review of 2014 in brief
As head of the kennel Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon led from the front. Now in Veteran she won every Veteran class entered as well as one Open Bitch class. She notched up several Best Veteran In Show results but more excitingly won a further 2 CC's and a Group 4 which not only took her CC tally past the half century but resulted in her winning the prestigious British Boxer Club Champion Of. Champions Trophy for 2014. She became the fourth dog from our kennel to do so which is quite a unique achievement!
From her first litter to Ch Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes her daughter Walkon First Lady Increased her wins to 1 CC's & 3 RCC's While her brother Walkon First Past The Post returned to the ring, after a lay off of over a year and in just 13 shows gained his Champions Title!. Due to their successes First Issue was also awarded the British. Boxer Club's Dam of Merit.
2014 also say the crowning of another champion from our kennel, namely Ch Under Cover at Walkon who is owned and shown by Steve Gething and Derek McCarthy. She then retired briefly for maternal duties and we are looking forward to campaigning her son Got It. Covered At Walkon when he makes his debut in early 2015.
Ch Walkon Okay Dokay With Lanfrese, co-owned and campaigned by Mitch Griffiths, continued to dominate many Open Dog classes and ended the year with 6 CC's, 10RCC's and a Group 2 as well as being awarded Top Stud Dog 2014.
Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon kept an eye on her latest off spring who made their debut during 2014, Walkon First Impression & Walkon First Class who between then won many Classes and 5 Best Puppy In Show's. Both qualified for the Pup Of The Year event to be held as part of the boxer Event in February 2015.
Midland Counties Championship Show 25.10.13
Ch Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes gained his title and became the 8th Group winner for Walkon! Only one other UK kennel has ever produced as many group winners and that was the famous Wardrobes Kennel so we are very proud to have equalled their achievement!
What a day! We were more than thrilled when Joe Smith awarded Mickey Blue Eyes his 3rd CC and so crowning him Walkon's 24th Champion following on the sucess of his kennel mate Ch Walkon Pin Up Girl in July. Not content with that "Blue" went on to win Best of Breed, beating his daughter who gained her Champions Title the same day, and then stunned us by powering rounfd the big ring to win the Working Group under Terry Nethercott. They say all dogs have their day and this was surely "Blue's".
Walkon Champion No. 23 crowned at Windsor 30.06.13.
We were abosolutely delighted when "Kylie" won Open Bitch at Windsor on Sunday and despite the heat put in one of her very best peformances to go on and win her 3rd and crowning CC, confirming her as Ch Walkon Pin Up Girl.
Our judge on the day (seen above) was breed specialist Julie Cook who had awarded Kylie the RCC (to her kennel mate Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon last time she judged - what a lovely lady!!!
Kylie is the third Champion out of Ch Walkon Bunny Girl a record we are very very proud of, the other two being Kylie's litter sister Ch Walkon Gossip Girl At Bonobo and her older half sister Ch Walkon Tantrums 'N' Tiaras At Bonobo.
Not to be outdone Walkon First Lady won the biggest class of the day, Junior Bitch, in very strong company just hard on the heels of her sucess at Three Counties at the begining of the month where she won her 1st RCC under another breed specialist Lesley Wearing.
The Annual Boxer Event 2013
Friday Afternoon saw us set off from Stranraer for the Boxer Event which is always a great opportunity for us Boxer folk to get together and let our hair down. We picked up Tracey Dawson and her Ch Walkon Gossip Girl At Bonobo enroute and met up with a crowd in the bar on our arrival. A quick drink was had and the dogs excercised before bed in anticipation of the big day on Saturday. The day kicks off at 1.30pm with the Pup of The Year followed by the Dog of The Year in the afternoon broken by the awarding of the Boxer Quarterly Annual Awards and finished off with dinner and dancing till the wee small hours!
All in all it was a great day with Ch Walkon Okay Dokay With Lanfrese following up last weeks sucess by winning Runner Up Top Male, he looked great and did us all proud!
In the Boxer Quarterly Awards we were very proud and a little emotinal to accept the award for Top Sire on behalf of Ch Walkon Made'n Issue who sadly passed away last year, and we were eqyually proud that his son was Top Male 2012 and The Dog of The Year Top Male on the evening.
We also collected the award for Top Breeder 2012 and later in the evening the Brirish Boxer Club's award for Top Boxer 2012 won by the wonderful Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon.
A big thanks to everyone who has played their part in our sucess and well done to all the winners on the night!
A sucessful start to 2013!
We have attended two shows so far this year, the first was The Anglian Boxer Club Championship Show on 26.01.13 which we very nearly did not make! Thanks to being in the wrong place at the wrong time we were caught up in snow on a very scarry M62, just making it to a service area before the motorway closed for most of the night. Luckily we were well prepared and having bedded the dogs down snugly in the van we found ourselves a room and at first light dug the van out and slithered our way back onto the motorway which by 6am was running again and quite clear. The dogs were none the worst for their adventure and the youngsters thought it was quite a lark. At least it did not faze them and Walkon The Illusionist won Puppy Dog and Walkon First Lady won Novice Bitch at her first show out of Puppy classes. Both made their debuts in the show ring during the second half of 2012. "Lexi" - Walkon First Lady won several good classes, being Best Puppy Bitch four times and Best Puppy in Breed on three of these occassions. "Lewis" - Walkon The Illusionist only appeared at the last half dozen shows of the year and managed an impressive record of three Best Puppy in Breed awards all from the Minor Puppy Dog classes. Lexi and Lewis qualified as Top Puppies of 2012 along with Lexi's litter brother "Archie" Walkon First Past The Post giving us three qualifiers for the National Pup of The Year competition on the 16th February.
Two weeks after The Anglian Boxer Club Show was The Midland Boxer Club Championship Show where the star was Ch Walkon Okay Doakay With Lanfrese. "Gavin" won Open Dog going on to win the Dog CC and Reserve Best In Show while his daughter, his first green card winner, won the Bitch CC - nothing like keeping it in the family! "Gavin" along with his father Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes and Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon have all qualified for the National Dog Of The Year also being held on the 16th of February, so a busy weekend coming up!!
Another for the Records.
We are very proud that we ended 2012 maintaining the record for the Top Winning CC Kennel of all time as well as awards for Ch Walkon Made'n Issue - Top Sire 2012 and for Top Breeder 2012. It makes all the long miles and hard work wothwhile.
Two New Champions For Walkon!
We are very proud to announce the crowning of Walkon's 21st & 22nd Champions!.
A very big well done to Tracey Dawson on gaining Ch Walkon Gossip Girl At Bonobo's 3rd and crowning CC at Bournemouth Championship Show in August under breed specialist Veronica Feaver and we were just sorry not to have been there to cheer them on!.
The same day Mitch Griffiths won his 2nd CC & Best of Breed with "Gavin" the dog I jointly own in partnership with him. A couple of weeks later with Mitch laid up in hospital it then fell to me to pilot "Gavin"round the ring at Richmond Championship Show under breed specialist Claire Kay. Not only did Ch Walkon Okay Dokay With Lanfrese gain his title that day but I was thrilled when showed like a bomb in the big ring to go on and win Working Group 2! Well done Mitch for all his hard work getting "Gavin" that far for me to steal all the glory!!
The First Two Shows of 2012
The first Show of the year was Manchester Championship Show where Walkon Okay Dokay With Lanfrese won Yearling Dog under judge Carol Schofield and Walkon Ain't No Issue was 2nd in another huge Minor Puppy Dog class.
Walkon Atomic Rooster was 2nd in Limit Bitch while Walkon Pin Up Girl and Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes were 3rd in both the Open classes, so a good day was had by all!
Where Do I Start - a great last quarter of 2011!
It has been so long since I have updated the news page that I do not know where to start so forgive me and I will try to summarise the last quarter of the year.
Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes was consistantly placed in the first three in Open Dog with 1st at Midland Counties giving him his 7th limit Dog win which moves him into Open Dog at the start of 2012. Meanwhile his son Walkon Okay Dokay With Lanfrese, continued to notch up a string of wins in Junior ending the year with another 2 RCC's, to add to his tally, at The South Western Boxer Club and LKA Championship Shows under all rounder Christina Chapman and breed specialist Nigel Rawlings. The last two shows of the year the Cotswold Boxer Club and LKA saw the debut of what we think is a new young star at Walkon - Walkon Ain't No Issue who, as a baby, was a very respectable 2nd and 3rd in the biggest Minor Puppy Dogs classes of the year!
Walkon Atomic Rooster took a back seat and stayed at home in favour of our new puppy bitch Walkon Back Issue who made her first appearance at the Irish Boxer Dog Club Championship Show in Late September. A 3rd and two 2nds at her first three shows were followed by three concecutive 1st's in Minor Puppy at the Trent Boxer Club, London & Home Counties Boxer Club and Midland Counties Championship Shows where she was Best Puppy in Breed on two of the occasions and Best Puppy Bitch on the third.
Walkon Pin Up Girl won 4 Limit Bitch classes including 2 RCC's from Julie Cook and Malcolm Gray at Belfast and the Trent Boxer Club Championship Shows, putting her firmly into Open Bitch along with her Kennel Mate Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon. "Ishy" herself just went from strength to strength in the last four months of the year. She won six more CC's all with Best Of Breed at Richmond, The Irish Boxer Club, Belfast, Driffield, Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Scotland and LKA, the last show of the year. She added to her amazing record by winning Working Group 3 at Richmond and Working Group 2 at Belfast while going one better at Driffield where she won her 5th Working Group!!!
Anyway....just as we thought it cound not possibly get better it did - big time!!. Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon won the CC (her 45th) & Best of Breed at LKA, the last show of the year and probably the most prestigious show in the year next to CRUFTS. The Working Group was being judged by the famous all rounder Albert Wight who not only picked "Ishy" as the winner of his Working Group but paid her the highest honour of all by awarding her Best In Show - All Breeds! to say we were speechless goes without saying and I cannot thank our judges Nigel Rawlings and Albert Wight enough for thinking so highly of our girl. A Very Merry Xmas!
In the middle of all the exitement of the last couple of months our Bulldog "Mattie" - Winuwuk Waltzing Matilda With Winuwuk also celebrated her 1st Birthday!
The Latest News!
Appologies for still not getting the show news up to date - I hope to do so in the next couple of weeks!
You will have to forgive me as I have not updated my newspage in the last couple of months, but I will in detail (with photos) as soon as I can, but suffice to say that Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon has continued her great run of success winning a further 4 CC's, since Leeds, including 3 Best of Breeds and an amazing Two Working Group 2's at Bournemouth & The Welsh Kennel Club!. With 39 CC's "Ishy" has overtaken Ch Roamaro Fun In The Sun With Walkon's record breaking 38 CC's and is now the most sucessfull Walkon Boxer to date.
We cannot say how proud we are of her!
Lucky Lucky Leeds! 23.07.11
Setting of at 4.30am we headed to Harewood House, the venue for Leeds Championship Show. It was Yvonne's birthday but little did we realise what a present was in store!
We were abosolutely delighted when Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes, who was 2nd in Limit Dog, was awarded theRCC from all rounder Jack Bispham.
As if that was not good enough a 4th with Walkon Coniglietta in Yearling and a 3rd in Limit with Walkon Pin Up Girl was followed by the CC & Best Of Breed with a very on song Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon.
With less than an hour to recover "Ishy" headed off to represent the breed in the Working Group, no stranger to this ring as she had won the Working Group here last year! The judge was Moa Persson, from Sweeden, who amazingly gave us the nod and awarded "Ishy" Winner of the Working Group 2011!
Having won Reserve Best In Show at Windsor last year we never expected to top it, and so having returned home for a double celebration, we set off again to Leeds at lucnchtime next day to compete for Best in Show prepared just to enjoy our day out. The judge was once again Mos Persson, who had judged all the groups and so all group winners went back with an equal chance. We cannot express our delight when our judge appeared to have no hesitation in calling for "The Boxer" as Best In Show! A lifetime ambition which we never thought we would achieve - well done "Ishy" and "Happy Birthday Yvonne!!
National Working & Pastoral Breeds Championship Show 16.07.11
It was another sucessfull day out under judge Sue Drinkwater. With Mitch Griffith off to a horse show with his lovely young stallion I was let loose with our young dog Walkon Okay Dokay With Lanfrese, which we own in partnership. "Gavin" as he is known was a good boy and handled for me without any fuss winning 2nd in a good Junior Class (just one place down from what he normally does with his Dad, Mitch, - Oh well! Walkon Atomic Rooster won a nice Post Graduate class which now moves her up into Limit which clashes with Walkon Pin Up Girl who just needs one more CC for her title. Atomic Rooster is going to take a break for a few weeks now and let Walkon Coniglietta have a return to the ring in the younger classes.
Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon just missed out on the top spot today but won the RCC in good company, much to our delight.
East of England Championship Show 09.07.11
The girls had a good day under judge Ann Wildman, who award 2nd in Post Graduate bitch to Walkon Atomic Rooster. Next in was Walkon Pin Up Girl who added another Limit win to her tally, while Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon continued to thrill us with another CC brining her tally to 34!
Four Championship Shows attended in the last month. 21.05.11 to 19.06.11
This has been another great month for Walkon Boxers! The first of the four shows was the Scottish Kennel Club where Annette Strachan-Abel was judging and we were delighted when she awarded Walkon Atomic Rooster a 1st in Post Graduate Bitch, and Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon the CC & Best of Breed.
It was straight off on holiday the next day for us which meant we missed the next show, Southern Counties. Imagine our delight however when we learnt that Walkon Maid With Style For Uftonponds, owned by John and Jane Crooks, won the CC & Best of Breed in our absence!
For us the next show was Three Counties, at Malvern with Joe Smith judging. Once again the in form "Ishy", Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon won the CC & Best of Breed and we were further thrilled when the Minor Puppy Bitch winner, Norwilbeck Out Of The Blue, who is sired by Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes won the RCC. All in all it was a bit of a family affair as the Dog CC (as well as the Bitch CC) was by Ch Walkon Made'n Issue.
Next up was Border Union Championship Show and after a late night at a wedding in Aberdeen we set off early to Kelso for the show. A kind friend, and Dobermann exhibitor, brought our dogs to the show and we were well rewarded with a good 2nd in Limit Bitch with Walkon Pin Up Girl and the CC (her 33rd) with Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon, thanks to judge Sid Reilly.
The fourth show was Blackpool which was hot and oppresive but despite that Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes managed to win a super Limit Dog class which was his 6th to date. For the girls it was the turn of Walkon Atomic Rooster who noched up her 4th Post Graduate win, so like Mickey Blue Eyes has just one more win before having to move up to Limit and Open respectfully.
Tyne, Wear & Tees Boxer Club Championship Dog Show 07.05.11
Another great day was had by all! Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes, Walkon Coniglietta & Walkon Atomic Rooster all picked up 2nd's in Limit Dog, Novice Bitch and Post Graduate Bitch repectively under breed specialists Barbara Morrison (dogs) and Anna Donnachie (bitches). The stars of the day were Walkon Okay Dokay With Lanfrese who continued his winning streak with a 1st in Puppy Dog and Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon who won her 30th CC & Reserve Best In Show!
Birmingham National Championship Dog Show 05.05.11
Leaving for Cyprus the day after the Merseyside Show, a weeks frantic house painting and gardening was in store for Yvonne, followed by a brief trip to Malvern for WELKS where Walkon Atomic Rooster and Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon picked up a couple of good 2nd's.
After a busy weekend with the wedding of friend's daughter it was off again on Wednesday to Stafford for the Birmingham National Dog Show - and what a great day it turned out to be! Debbie Huggins was judging her first Championship Show appointment and it was the boys turn to hog the limelight. We were more than thrilled when Ch Walkon Made'n Issue won Open Dog and his 22nd CC & Best of Breed. His son Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes was 2nd in Limit Dog while in turn his son Walkon Okay Dokay With Lanfrese, who is owned in partnership with Mitch Griffith, stunned us all winning the RCC & Best Puppy in Breed! Not to be outdone however the girls kept their end up with Walkon Atomic Rooster & Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon winning Post Graduate & Open Bitch respectively, while Walkon Pin Up Girl who was 2nd in Limit Bitch went on to win the RCC brininging her tally to 2 CC's & 1 RCC.
Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Wales Championship Show 16.04.11 & The Merseyside Boxer Club Championship Show 17.04.11
With hardly time to draw breath it was off to Wales for the first of two shows this weekend. Eric Hancock was judging, his first Championship Show appointment and we were absolutely thrilled when he awarded the Dog CC to Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes, his second, follwing close on the paws of his RCC at the Mancunian Boxer Club two weeks earlier. He currently has 2CC's & 2 RCC's to his credit. That was not all however and they day just seemed to get better as Walkon Atomiser won a lovely Puppy Bitch class, followed by Walkon Pin Up Girl who won limit Bitch and last but by no means least Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon who won Open Bitch and the RCC
Having stayed in a delightfull country hotel near Wrexham the night before we retraced our steps and returned there for a second night, which was all very relaxing for a doggy weekend!. With not too early a start we headed back north for the beautifully run Maerseyside Boxer Club Show. Again it was a great day for the girls, under judge Des Manton, with Walkon Pin Up Girl repeating yesterday's sucess winning Limit Bitch and Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon winning her 29th CC and Best In Show!
Northern Boxer Club Championship Show 10.04.11
Following on from last weeks sucess Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon again hit top spot winning the CC & Best in Show under Wendy Barrow, with Walkon Coniglietta winning her first Novice class in good company.
Mancunian Boxer Club Championship Show 03.04.11 - The UK Record is broken by Walkon!
This was a great day for Walkon Boxers in more ways than one!
We were thrilled when Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes won a superb Limit Dog class and then the RCC under breed specialist Arthur Butters (Mindenwood) brining his tally to 1 CC & 2 RCC's to date.
Even more thrilling was a 27th CC for Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon under another breed specialist Barbara Morrison (Xandene), and in agreement with Arthur she went on to win Reserve Best In Show.
As if this in itself was not enough this CC brought the total of CC's won/owned by the Walkon Boxers to 218 making us the Top Winning UK Boxer Kennel of all time!!
The previous record of 217 was held by Connie Wilson-Wiley's famous Wardrobes Kennel and has stood in tact for nearly 40 years. Having always thought such a record was unbeatable we were exstatic to equal it (with First Issue at Crufts) and now to have beaten it!
We won our first CC at the Scottish Kennel Club Show in 1986 under breed specialist Denise Mastaglio with the young Slightly Sloshed Of Sunhawk At Walkon who went on to become a worthy Champion...
...and it has taken nearly 25 years to achieve another 217, just about the same time it took the Wilson-Wileys all these years ago. This record may be beaten but it is unlikely to be beaten in such a "short" space of time and we are very proud of this achievement.
CRUFTS 10th & 11th March 2011
Last year we said CRUFTS could not get better but I think it just did!
We decided to leave the "pups" at home and concentrate on the older kids. We set off very early on the Thursday morning for the pre judging of the Breeders Competition. This is a competition for a breeder to enter a team of 4 dogs bred by him/her owned by either the breeder or others. We were very successfull last year coming 2nd so decided to give it another go this year. Our team consited of myself with Ch Walkon Made'n Issue, Walker with Walkon Atomic Rooster, John Crooks with Walkon Maid With Style At Upftonponds and Tracy Dawson with her newly crowned Ch Walkon Tantrums 'n' Tiaras At Bonobo. It was judged this year by Christopher Habig from Germany and was limited to the top 25 teams all breeds. Imagine our delight when once again we were pulled out in the "Big Ring" at Crufts in 2nd place! Will it be third time lucky next year?
If you would like to see the TV coverage of the judging just click on the screen below.
Despite the celbrations a reasonably quiet night was followed by another early start and we were back in the NEC by 7am. This year Boxers were judged by the very well known husband and wife team of Helen & Eddie Banks (Norwatch Sunhawk Boxers). In addition to judging all the individual classes the judges between them have four major awards to give out in the breed - Best Dog, Reserve Best Dog, Best Bitch and Reserve Best Bitch. To win a class at Crufts is everyone's dream, to win a major award is even better!. To win two is amazing but to win three I think is unprecidented and that is what we did! The dogs were judged by Eddie Banks who much to our utter delight awarded Ch Walkon Made'n Issue the Resreve Best Dog spot! Next up was Helen Banks judging the bitches and we were quite speachless when Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon repeated last years success by winning Best Bitch, while Walker piloted her younger kennel mate Walkon Atomic Rooster to Resreve Best Bitch her 4th RCC to date. That is why it can't get much better than this!! As you can see however they all seemed to take in in their stride, from left to right is Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon, Walkon Atomic Rooster and Ch Walkon Made'n Issue.
The BOXER EVENT 05.03.2001
It seemed like a late start to the year as we missed the first couple of shows due to being on holiday. Consequently it was lovely to meet up with all our friend again on such a fun occasion.
The day kicked off with The Mancunian Boxer Club Pup Of The Year, which we had won last year with Walkon Atomic Rooster. This year it was judged by Tony Curtin (Shiloh) and we were proudly represented by our new rising star Walkon Coniglietta, one of the top qualifiers in the competition. Thoroughly enjoying her day out she made the first cut in what is a knockout competition but sadly progressed no further. Not that "Conni" was bothered as it just meant that she could get her tea earlier!
Next up were the grown ups in the Cotswold Boxer Club Dog Of The Year in which we were represented by Ch Walkon Made'n Issue, Walkon Pin Up Girl and Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon.
First in were the dogs and we were thrilled when Ch Walkon Made'n Issue opened his account for the year winning Runner Up Best Dog
Next it was the girls turn. Last year Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon won Best Bitch and was Runner Up to the dog winner, Ch Winuwuk Lust at First Sight, and we were not in anyway dissapointed when this years judges - all rounder Stuart Mallard, breed specialist Stuart Lockwood-Brown and well known American guest judge Kay Palade-Peiser came up with the same result. Not a bad start to the year!
Just as exciting was when John Crooks Walkon Maid With Style At Uptonponds was awarded 4th Best Bitch, a huge thrill for everyone concerned and we wish him continued sucess with her.
The Last Six Championship Shows of 2010!
The boys put in a late challenge at the end of the year - Ch Walkon Made'n Issue won the RCC at Midland Counties Championship Show under breed specialist Sue Ballinger and went one better at Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Scotland Championship Show where he came of age winning his 21st CC under the famous Ilona Osten-Schenk from Holland. He finished the year with another win at L.K.A. where he saw the crowning of his 3rd Champion - Ch walkon Tantrums 'n' Tiaras At Bonobo. Well done and thanks to Tracey & Jonny on making up their 1st Champion and the 20th Champion for Walkon! "Trash" ended 2010 as Top Stud Dog.
Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes won two excellent Limit Dog classes at Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Scotland and South Wales Championship Shows under Ilona Osten-Schenk and Amanda Jinks. His son Walkon Blue Movie also had a great day at the Cotswold Boxer Club Show where he won Minor Puppy Dog & Best Puppy Dog In Show!
The girls always pushing for top honours were not to be outdone however. Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon rounded off her year with a RCC at Midland Counties Championship Show under breed specialist Sue Ballinger and her 25th CC and Reserve Best In Show at the Cotswold Boxer Club Show under Canadian Al Rounder Jim Reynolds. She ends 2010 as Top Boxer.
Walkon Dazzling Issue won a nice Graduate Bitch class at South Wales Boxer Club under breed specialist Brenda Groves, while Walkon Pin Up Girl came with a late run winning 4 of her last 5 classes of the year and her first 2 CC's!, at South Western and South Wales Boxer Club Shows under Sweedish All Rounder Karl-Eric Johansson and Breed Specialist Brenda Groves.
With Walkon Atomic Rooster returning to the ring after a 2 month break, a 2nd in Limit Bitch was a great result while Walkon Coniglietta continued to be firmliy entrenched in the first three in Puppy Bitch ending 2010 as one of the breed's Top Puppies.
Last but never least Ch Walkon Bunny Girl made her second appearance of the year as a Veteran Bitch winning her class at the South Western Boxer Club Show with ease and giving the rest of the bitches a good run for their money! She headed the breeder team to victory that day with off spring from three of her litters at the show and ended the year as Top Dam 2010!
Belfast, Drifield and The Trent Boxer Club Championship Shows 26.09.10 - 02.10.10
Arriving home from our holidays, the last Saturday in September, we grabbed a few hours sleep before getting on the 4.30am ferry to Belfast. Malcom James was judging and it turned out to be well worth the trip as Walkon Coniglietta continued her recent run of success with another win in Puppy Bitch going on to win Best Puppy In Breed! Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon also kept up her winning ways, winning the Open Bitch class, and much to our uter delight, her 24th CC.
With hardly time to gather our breath it was off to Driffield on Thursday where All Rounder Christina Chapman was juding Boxers for the first time. Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes had a good 2nd in Limit Dog and his father Ch Walkon Made'n Issue won Open Dog. The girls kept their end up with Walkon Coniglietta once again winning Puppy Bitch and her 3rd consecutive Best Puppy In Breed award! Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon won Open Bitch and her 11th RCC.
To complete a hectic week we set off to The Trent Boxer Club on Saturday where Veronica Feaver was judging dogs and Greg Dowall was judging bitches. Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes won a super Limit Dog class while his son Walkon Blue Movie, not quite 6 months old took part in the Puppy Walk competition and won Best Baby Puppy Dog, while having a ball! Next up for the girls was Walkon Atomic Rooster who after a break of a couple of shows came back to win Graduate Bitch and her 3rd RCC. All in all it was busy but very rewarding week!!
City Of Birminghan Championship Show 04.09.10
Yesterday at the City Of Birmingham Show there was a little bit of WALKON history in the making. The judge was all rounder Stuart Mallard who seemed to judge the bitches very much to type. In the final bitch line up six of the eight bitches were owned or bred by ourselves but incredibly Ch Walkon Bunny Girl was the mother of four class winners from three different litters! I think that must be quite an unpresedented event!
Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon won her 23rd CC just beating Bunny Girl's oldest daughter, Walkon Tantrums'n'Tiaras At Bonobo who won the RCC! But to complete the hat trick Bunny's youngest daughter Walkon Coniglietta won Best Puppy In Breed and in true "Bunny Girl" style marched into the working puppy group where she won Group 2! What a great day and thanks to all my handlers and the owners of our dogs who show them so well!!
A Sizzling Summer So Far from 03.07.10 to 29.08.10
With shows coming thick and fast over the height of the summer I struggle to keep the show news updated on a regular basis. It has been a highly sucessful couple of months all the same especially for Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon who has led the team from the front! Since Winsdor Championship Show at the beginning of July she has won a further 5 CC's three with Best of Breed including a Best In Show at the British Boxer Club Championship Show, and two more Working Groups at Leeds Championship Show, under Ben Frost-Reynolds and last week at the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show under Andrew Brace - WOW.
The rest of the girls Walkon Atomic Rooster, Walkon Pin Up Girl, Walkon Dazzling Issue and the new kid on the block Walkon Coniglietta have consistently been in the first three in all their classes.
As for the boys Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes thrilled us with the RCC at Paignton Championship show at the begining of August while his dad, Ch Walkon Made'n Issue picked up the British Boxer Club's Sire Of Merit trophy for 2010 at the recent Club Show. His daughter Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon also picked up the award for Top Boxer 2010 so it was a truely family affair!! We were thrilled when two weeks later two more of his daughters Walkon Tantrums 'n' Tiars At Bonobo and
All in all its been a great couple of months!
Catch Up Time from 10.05.10 to 03.07.10
Pressure of work and a weeks holiday has left me playing catch up with the website for the last month or so! During this time we have been to six Championship Shows including S.K.C., Southern Counties, Three Counties, Border Union, Blackpool and most recently Windsor Championship Shows.
Ch Walkon Made'n Issue won the RCC at Blackpool under breed specialist Frank Wildman, while, following a win at SKC, Walkon Mickey BLue Eyes has been second or third on his next outings.
The girls however have excelled themselves with Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon continuing her dominance of the Open Bitch classes. Winning the CC & Best of Breed at Southern Counties Championship Show, she went onto win Working Group 3. The next week saw her picking up a RCC at Three Counties and her 16th CC a week later at Border Union Championship Show equaling the sucess of her Grandmother Ch Roamaro Maiden The Shade At Walkon!
Still unbeaten in Open Bitch this year "Ishy" went to Windsor Championship Show on Saturday. It was a hot day but undaunted she put in a great performance under breed specialist Tim Hutchings to win the CC & Best of Breed.
With only minutes to spare she ran into the group ring where internationaly respected all rounder Liz Cartledge was judging the Working Group. With huge support from the ringside "Ishy" put her best paw forward to win Group 1!
Now without a bed for the night and a change of clothes we headed off to Wales to see a puppy. Very kindly our breed judge then offered us B & B (and a fresh shirt for Walker) so what could we say but yes please!
Off we went, back to Windsor, on Sunday to compete for Best In Show. The judge was once again Liz Cartledge, who had judged five of the seven groups over the the three days of the show.
I cannot say how thrilled we were when she called "Ishy" in as Reserve Best In Show an award we have never yet achieved at this level!
I have to say thank you to all our supporters on both days who organised "Rent A Crowd" to cheer us on!
Birmingham National Dog Show 09.05.10
Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon continued her run of success winning 1st Open Bitch, while the younger Walkon Atomic Rooster also kept up her winning form with 1st Yearling Bitch and once again was shortlisted for the CC.
A Bitter Sweet Week & a Milestone for Walkon
Early on Sunday morning 25th April we lost the old Gentleman of the family Ch Roamaro Fun In The Sun With Walkon.
"Buzz" was the Male Breed Record Holder until very recently and in fact his record of 38 CC's had only been beaten by one at the time of his death. Distressingly I was trapped abroad due to the volcanic eruption leaving Walker to say farewell for both of us.
"Buzz" was our "one in a lifetime" show dog winning more than we could have ever hoped for, but more importantly he was a nice dog, who never gave us any trouble and was a pleasure to own and admire right to the end.
He started his show career as Top Puppy 1999, gaining his 1st CC & Best in Show at 13 and a half months. He was Top Boxer 2000 & Top Dog 2001 and 2002.
He won the Cotswold Boxer Club's Dog Of The Year title in 2001 & 2003 as well as the British Boxer Club's Champion Of Champions Trophy for 5 years running from 2001 to 2005.
In addition to all his breed wins "Buzz" won the title of Scottish Show Dog Of The Year 2003 - All Breeds, having been Runner Up the previous year.
"Buzz" is pictured below taking the male breed record with his 34th CC under breed specialist Julie Brown in 2004
Exactly a week later we set off for Tyne Wear & Tees Boxer Club Championship Show where our spirits were lifted when once again we did the "bitch double" with Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon winning the CC & Best In Show while Walkon Atomic Rooster won her second RCC under breed specialist Sue Malcom.
In addition Ch Walkon Bunny Girl decided it was time to give up her maternal duties once and for all and with four beautifull litters to her credit she thought it was time for her first veteran class! "Bunny" tackled it as she does everything in life - "by storm", easily out moving most of the younger bitches and winning Best Veteran In Show!
What made this day even more special was that this was a milestone for WALKON BOXERS winning our 200th CC!, only the third UK Boxer Kennel in history to achieve this. An achievement which would not have been possible without "Buzz"!
Northern Boxer Club Championship Show 11.04.10
This was another great day and well worth getting up at 4am for! Our new little red chap Walkon Still No Stripes was 3rd in Minor Puppy Dog while Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes won a lovely Yearling class, both under all rounder Michael Quinnney. The girls were judged by Piet Rosenboom from Belgium who thrilled us by giving the CC to the on form Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon and along with his co-judge awarded her Best In Show
Mancunian Boxer Club Championship Show 04.04.10
Today was first time out for our new red boy Walkon Still No Stripes who thrilled us by taking it all within his stride and winning 2nd in Minor Puppy Dog under jeff Luscott (last week's bitch judge). The girls however were determined to keep the boys in their place and continue with their winning ways under breed specialist Christine Ellingworth. Walkon Dazzling Issue kicked off with a 3rd in Minor Puppy Bitch followed by Walkon Pin Up Girl winning her 6th consecutive class this year - Junior Bitch, while her kennel mate Walkon Atomic Rooster was 2nd in Graduate Bitch. Once again the star of the show, quite literally, was Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon who won Open Bitch, going on to win the CC and then, on referee Jenny Whitakers decission - Best In Show!
Essex & Eastern Boxer Club Championship Show 28.03.10
One of the longer journeys for us, but our efforts were well rewarded. The girls all won their classes under all rounder Jeff Luscott. Walkon Atomic Rooster started the ball rolling with a win in Junior Bitch, followed by another win for Walkon Pin Up Girl this time in Novice Bitch, and fresh from her fabulous day at Crufts Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon did not let us down winning the RCC.
Not to be outdone "Ishy's" dad, Ch Walkon Made'n Issue won the dog RCC under breed specialist Jean Watson!
Crufts 2010 - For Live Action see the video action below!
With hardly time to unpack from the DOTY & POTY it was time to reload the van and set off again on Wednesday for Crufts! If we thought our year so far could not get better we were very much mistaken and the next two days proved to be the most thrilling we have ever had I think!
It was a great day and nobody went away empty handed. Ch Walkon Made'n Issue & Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes both won 3rd's in their repective classes, Yearling and Open Dog, under judge Chris Cray.
Bitches were judged by all rounder and breed specialist Kari Wilberg and the girls kept up their end with Walkon Pin Up Girl winning 1st in Junior! She was followed by Walkon Atomic Rooster who won 4th in Graduate, but the star of the show indeed of the day was Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon who won the CC & Best Of Breed, a feat we last acheived fourteen years ago with her Great Grandfather Ch & Ir Ch Blueprint Beern Skittles At Walkon!
With judging finished we had a couple of hours to wait before moving over the the main arena where the Groups and Best In Show are judged. Still feeling like a film star "Ishy" was photographed, interviewed and re photographed before Walker, Tracy Dawson & Jonathon Baordman left for their seats in the stands and "Ishy" and I awaited our entrance into the "Big Ring".
For live coverage of THE WORKING GROUP see below.
A huge thanks to the day's judges - Kari Wilberg and Zena Thorn-Andrews, Walker, Tracy & Jonny for all their support and whipping up the crowd behind them to cheer us every inch of the way. Thanks also to our fellow exhibitors for their kind congratulations and wishes of good luck!
Another set of photographs followed and finally exhausted we made our way outside to walk back to the car park, but "Ishy" was having none of that and hopped on the first bus of her young life to a rousing cheer and was driven back in style!!!
The fairy tale did not end there however, Walker, Tracy, Jonny and myself returned to the Royal Court Hotel for a night of celebration before returning to the NEC next day. This was for the finals of the Breeders Competition.
Throughout 2009 we qualified a team of four Walkon bred dogs, to compete in the grand final at Crufts 2010. Our team, in order of appearance, comprised of myself and Ch Walkon Made'n Issue, Walkon You Only Live Twice For Galicar with owner Jo Cairns, Walkon Surely Not Of Sarsbrook with owner Maggie Knight and bringing up the rear Tracy Dawson with her own Walkon Tantrums'n' Tiaras, all seen here in a relaxed moment before going into the ring!
For live coverage of THE BREEDERS FINALS see below
The Dog Of The Year & Pup Of The Year 06.03.10
What a fabulous day this turned out to be! With three dogs qualified for the Mancunian Boxer Club Pup Of The Year and four qualified for the Cotswold Boxer Club Dog Of The Year we set off on Friday night to The Royal Court Hotel in Coventry where the competiotns were taking place from 1.30pm onwards the next day.
The Pup Of The Year was first in and judged by all rounder Clare Coxall. All three of our qualifiers Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes, Walkon Pin Up Girl & Walkon Atomic Rooster made the first cut. Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes played to the crowd finishing Runner Up Puppy Dog while his precocious kennel mate Walkon Atomic Rooster won Top Bitch Puppy and going the whole way was declared Pup Of The Year 2010.
With a break for afternoon tea next on the Agenda was the presentation of the Boxer Quarterly Annual Awards. Our day got even better as we recieved the awards for Top Sire 2009 with Ch Walkon Made'n Issue, Top Bitch 2009 with his daughter, Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon, Top Dam 2009 with his mother Ch Roamaro Maiden The Shade At Walkon and last but by no means least Top Puppy 2009 with Walkon Atomic Rooster!
It was back to the ring for the Dog Of The Year judged by a panel of three judges - Siguard Wilberg, Paola Watten and Edna Woods, and for which Mickey Blue Eyes and Atomic Rooster had qualified along with Ch Walkon Made'n Issue and Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon.
Dogs were judged first and we were delighted when Ch Walkon Made'n Issue gained the Runner Up Top Dog spot but even more delighted when Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon beat a host of lovely bitches winning Top Bitch!
A mad dash followed the presentations to feed and excersise the dogs before changing for the black tie dinner which followed. At the British Boxer Club "Boscar Awards" ceremony after dinner Ch Roamaro Maiden The Shade With Walkon was once again honoured with the award for Top Dam 2009 and the evening was rounded off by dancing till late!
Another Great Day!
Our fourth show of the year was the Scottish Boxer Club Championship show on 27.02.10. Despite the slightly tortureous route to get there (of almost 3 hours and a bit of snow!) it was a highly sucessfull trip.
The boys were judged by breed specialist David Webb and kicked off with Walkon Major Issue picking up a VHC in Minor Puppy. Next in was Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes in Mid Limit for the first time, where he did not let us down and won a good 2nd. It was "Dad", Ch Walkon Made'n Issue, however that made our day coming up trumps and winning his 20th CC!
The girls who have been stealing the show recently were not to be outdone and notched up three firsts and a second under breed specialist Betty MacDonald. First in was Walkon Dazzling Issue with a lovely 2nd in Minor Puppy. Walkon Atomic Rooster, Walkon Pin Up Girl & Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon then all won their classes - Junior, Maiden & Open respectively and were all three shortlisted for the CC! It was Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon who kept up her winning streak by adding another RCC to her tally.
We even got home in time to go out for the evening to celebrate!
A Great Start To The New Year
It is only mid February but already we have been to three Championship Shows, Manchester, The Anglian Boxer Club and The Midland Boxer Club.
Manchester, judged by all rounder Meg Prunell-Carpenter, started with Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes winning Junior Dog and the new puppy dog Walkon Major Issue being placed 2nd in Minor Puppy Dog.
Walkon Atomic Rooster was 2nd in Junior Bitch, while Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon got the year off to a flying start by winning the bitch CC.
The day was rounded of by "Team WALKON" winning Best Breeder In The Working Group!
A week later it was off to the Anglian Boxer Club where Dawn Pilling judged dogs and Carol Moncur-Drysdale judged the bitches. Walkon Dazzling Issue and Walkon Pin Up Girl had their first outings of the year, winning 2nd in Minor Puppy Bitch and 1st in Novice Bitch respectively, while Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon won a strong Open Bitch class and 3rd's were picked up in both Junior classes by Walkon Atomic Rooster & Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes.
This weekend was the Midland Boxer Club which I did on my own leaving Walker at home to work and hold the fort. What a great day it turned out to be. Steve Gething judged bitches and gave 1st's to all three of our bitches, Walkon Atomic Rooster in Junior Walkon Pin Up Girl in Novice, and Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon in Open. Thankfully Tracy Dawson and Claire Cook came to my aid handling Atomic Rooster and Pin up Girl respectively. We were thrilled when we "did the double" winning the CC with Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon and the RCC with Walkon Atomic Rooster! We have acheived this in the past with dogs and occasionally with a dog and a bitch but I think this is the first time we have ever done it with two bitches. The day just got even better when in agreement with his co-judge Dr Orietta Zilli from Italy, "Ishy" went on to win Best In Show! It was a long journey home but a very happy one!
A Review Of 2009
2009 was a great year for WALKON!
We saw the crowining of our 19th Champion Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon, who not only gained her title but finished the year as Top Bitch 2009.
Her father Ch Walkon Made'n Issue made his mark winning Top Sire 2009 producing 5 different CC winners and was the sire of the first UK Boxer with a tail!
Although beaten on a tie break "Trash" was also Top Working Sire 2009 and following a good year in the show ring was also Runner Up Top Dog 2009
In addition to winning his 1st CC, his son, Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes won a National Heat of the Pro Plan/Dog World Pup Of The Year and competed in the finals in January where he put his best paw forward, and despite the distraction of all the other breeds, was shortlisted in top company by Judge Brenda Banbury.
"Blue" also ended the year Runner Up Top Puppy 2009 beaten by his kennel mate Walkon Atomic Rooster who was not only Top Puppy 2009 but also Top Working Puppy 2009!
Not to be done the 9 year old Ch Roamaro Maiden The Shade At Walkon was Top Dam 2009.
As a collective unit this has to be one of the most sucessful years for the Walkon Kennel with 3 puppies qualifying for the Pup Of The Year - Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes, Walkon Atomic Rooster & Walkon Pin Up Girl, and 4 dogs qualifying for the Dog Of The Year. The four include Ch Walkon Made'n Issue, Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon as well as two of the "pups" Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes & Walkon Atomic Rooster.
It was not only our own dogs who were sucessfull during the year, indeed four other Walkon's won CC & RCC's during 2009. Walkon I'm A Celebrity At Latchkey won 1 CC for Cathy & Cathrine Thompson. Tracy Dawson & Jonathon Baordman's Walkon Tantrums'n' Tiaras added another 1CC & 1RCC to her tally, while Maggie & John Knight's Walkon Surely Not Of Sarsbrook added a RCC to his exsiting CC. Jo Cairns Walkon You Only Live Twice For Galicar won her first RCC, and last but not least Tracy & Jonathon's Walkon Gossip Girl also qualified for the Pup Of The Year.
Cotswold Boxer Club Championship Show 06.12.09
The second last show of the year and a late drive down south the night before the show, after Walker's golf and Yvonne's hunting. Again the spoils were evenly shared between the girsl and the boys with a bit of a reversal on the last weeks results. Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes continued to keep himself in the frame winning another Junior Dog class under breed specialist Betty MacDonald. In bitches our judge was Mr Joao Vasco Pocas from Portugal awarding her 8th CC to Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon who was pipped at the post for Best In Show on the referees decission but was duly given Reserve Best In Show!
South Wales Boxer Club Championship Show 21.11.09
It was another long journey this weekend with some of the worst flooding of the year to contend with but it was well worth the effort. Under breed specialist Jenny Whitaker the girls, Walkon Pin up Girl, Walkon Atomic Rooster & Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon all won 1st in their classes, Puppy, Junior & Open. Quite literally the star of the show however was Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes who under all rounder Andrew Brace won Junior Dog and thrilled us by winning his 1st CC and under breed specialist Pam Broughton went on to win Best In Show
South Western Boxer Club Championship Show 14.11.09
At this time of year the road seems to get longer and the shows are certainly some of the furthest away ones! Today the venue was Weston Super Mare and the girls were calling the shots! Following on from her sisters success last week, Walkon Pin Up Girl won the puppy class and went on to win Best Puppy In Show with full agreement of both judges, Philip Greenway and Mrs Manduel-Carkeek. Walkon Ain't No Stripes was out again and although still a puppy had moved into Novice Bitch to make way for Pin Up Girl, so we were delighted when she too took 1st place in her class.
Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Scotland Championship Show 08.11.09
Today was a "local show" with only a two and a half hour drive to the Royal Highland Showground at Ingleston, outside Edinburgh. Today was the turn of the boys to keep the flag flying! Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes got the ball rolling with a convicing win in Junior Dog followed by his father Ch Walkon Made'n Issue who much to our delight won the CC, Best of Breed & Working Group 4. Our judge was from Holland - Mrs Ellis Van Honschooten and our girls achieved two 3rds and a 2nd in Puppy, Junior and Open Bitch. We were further thrilled when Walkon Gossip Girl At Bonobo, owned by Tracy Dawson & Jonathon Boardman, won her first championship show Best Puppy In Breed and following in "Trash's" paw prints was also 4th in the Working Puppy Group , both groups being judged by the well known all rounder Jeff Luscott.
Midland Counties Championship Show 22.10.09
Under breed specialist Gill Davis Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon won a good Open Bitch class while Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes & Walkon Atomic Rooster were second in both Junior classes. Consistent as ever Ch Walkon Made'n Issue was 3rd in Open Dog.
London & Home Counties Boxer Club Championship Show 17.10.09
Once again it was up to our three rising stars to bring home the glory this week with Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes not only winning another Junior Dog class but thrilling us by being shortlisted in the last 4 for the CC under breed specialist Tony Curtin. With well known all rounder Liz Cartledge judging bitches Walkon Pin Up Girl continued on her roll winning Best Puppy Bitch while her kennel mate Walkon Atomic Rooster also won another Junior Bitch class, so a good day was had by all.
The Scottish Boxer Club Open Show 04.10.09
A day out for the babies and youngsters, Walkon Pin Up Girl was Best Puppy In Sweepstakes under Margaret Sandilands and 1st in Puppy Bitch in the Open Show under Fiona Goodwin. Walkon Atomic Rooster continued her winning run with another win in Novice Bitch while her Mum Walkon Atomic Kitten had a rare day out and returning to her old form won Best In Show.
The Trent Boxer Club Championship Show 03.10.09
With his father (Made'n Issue) staying at home today it was another sucess for Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes who kept the side up for the boys, under breed specialist Carol Schofield, with yet another win, this time in Novice Dog. Never one to be outdone, Walkon Atomic Rooster, under Sweedish judge Mr Almgren, also won Novice Bitch! It was an even greater thrill for the absent Made'n Issue whose first Champion son Ch Norawtch Sunhawk Main Issue won his crowning CC and his daughter Walkon Tantrums'n Tiaras At Bonobo, won her 4th RCC!
Driffield Championship Show 03.10.09
Today was another great day for our two younsters who have been doing so well recently - Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes and Walkon Atomic Rooster whom despite being just out of the puppy classes won both Junior Dog & Junior Bitch under breed specialist Tony Watson
The Irish Weekend 26 & 27.09.09
Once again we made our annual trip to our "local shows" namely the Irish Boxer Club and Belfast Championship Shows where a great weekend was had by all! At the Irish Boxer Club Show, under South African, Johan Keiser, we achieved the "mini double" with Ch Walkon Made'n Issue and his daughter Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon winning both RCC's! Keeping the side up for the youngsters Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes also won Maiden Dog.
Next day it was off to Belfast where, with Malcolm Gray judging, Walkon Pin Up Girl was Best Puppy Bitch and Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon not only won the CC & Best Of Breed but following on Bunny Girls success last year, went on to win Working Group 3 under Bob Gregory.
Bournemouth Championship Show 10.08.09 & The Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show 23.08.09

Today was the turn of the youngsters and our judge was the well repected Karl Eric Johansson from Sweden. Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes kicked off for the boys with a 1st in a huge Puppy Dog class and Best Puppy Dog, while Dad, Ch Walkon Made'n Issue was 4th in Open Dog. As roosual however the precocious Walkon Atomic Rooster had to go one better, winning a lovely Puppy Bitch class and then beating "Blue" for top spot by going Best Puppy In Breed. Still not content with that she joined the other breeds in the group, and taking it all in her stride delighted us by winning 3rd in the Working Puppy Group!Photos of Walkon Breeders Team and Group 2 Win

It seemed a long journey to Peterborough for this show, being on my own as Walker had to stay at home and work, poor sole! I has six entered but chose to leave Walkon Ain't No Stripes at home and take Walkon Pin Up Girl (who was entered in the same class) for a second outing instead. It is hard work on your own with five dogs but thanks to help from friends I seemed to get the right dogs to the ring in the right order! After they great run of sucess we have been having I was more than thrilled when things only seemed to get better! It was a repeat of last weeks performance for the boys with Walkon Mickey Blue Eyes 2nd in Puppy Dog and Ch Walkon Made'n Issue winning the RCC. Both Walkon Pin Up Girl and Walkon Atomic Rooster were 3rd in Minor Puppy and Puppy repectively while, seeming to build on her recent run of sucess, Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon won her 6th CC. It certainly made the journey home a short one and thanks to all rounder Peter Bailey for a great day.Windsor Championship Show 05.07.09

This year Tracey Dawson & Jonathan Boardman, who own Walkon Tantrums 'n Tiara At Bonobo made their first trip across the water, staying with us on Friday night.
A relatively early bed was negated by a 3.15am rise to catch the ferry from Stranraer, but litte did we know what a great weekend we had in store!
Saturday was the Irish Boxer Club Show, judged by the Finish Judge Olavi Tuorvinen, where the highlight of our day was a second RCC, for our homebred Roamaro First Issue By Walkon close on the paws of
her first at SKC last month.
With no time to draw breath it was off to our Hotel where almost all the Boxer Exhibitors were staying and where after a few drinks, dinner and a disco we all
staggered very tired to bed from about midnight onwards.
It was up again about 6.30am to walk the dogs before leaving for Belfast where all rounder Brenda Banbury was judging. Once again Roamaro First Issue By Walkon
did us proud, winning her second class of the weekend, Post Graduate Bitch, one place better than Ch Walkon Made'n Issue who was third in Open Dog.
The star of the show, quite literally was Walkon Bunny Girl who won Open Bitch and at last that illusive 3rd CC!. I do not think Walker & I could
have been more thrilled and the congratulations we recieved from our fellow exhibitors at the time and since has been quite overwhelming!
Meanwhile the nealy crowned Ch Walkon Bunny Girl took it all in her stride and with a glint in her eye went on to win The Working Group!!
"Bunny" is our 18th UK Champion and Ch & Ir Ch Blueprint Beern Skittles At Walkon's 13th UK Champion, a number we were beginning to think was going to be unlucky. "Beern Skittles" was a group winner himself and "Bunny" is the 3rd of his children to win a Working Group, following in the paw prints of Ch Roamaro Fun In The Sun With Walkon and Ch Roamaro Maiden The Shade at Walkon. This was without doubt one of our best showing moments!!
Latest News for 2008 (May - August)
This tends to be the busiest time of the year for us trying to combine dogs shows, golf days, horse events and of course holidays! So forgive me if you have been looking for the latest news from Walkon which has not been forthcoming since the beginning of May.
We cut down the number of dogs entered at the summer shows and so consequently the youngsters - Walkon Bunny Hugger, Roamaro First Issue By Walkon and Walkon Casinoroyale have been shown in rotation while Ch Walkon Made'n Issue and Walkon Bunny Girl have represented us each week in the Open Classes. In addition we have given Walkon Atomic Kitten a break since she won her way into Limit which made life a bit too hectic with her mum Bunny Girl following straight on her heels in the Open classes. In addition we decided to let Walkon Bob The Builder go to a lovely pet home and despite only being shown nine times up to the begining of May he is still currently a qualifier for next years Pup Of The Year competition
It has nevertheless been a very sucessfull three months with Ch Walkon Made'n Issue winning a further 2 CC's, 1 Best In Show and 4 RCC's keeping up a very consistent record.
Walkon Bunny Girl continues to be consistently placed in the first three in Open Bitch and has also added a RCC to her tally.
At the same time her daughters have been doing extremely well. Walkon Atomic Kitten has won her way out of Post Graduate and into Limit, being shortlisted for the CC on more than one occasion. Following her 1st Limit win she has stayed at home and is expecting puppies at the beginning of October before returning to the ring.
As for her other daughters, Walkon Bunny Hugger although only shown a handfull of times so far this year has also been winning well, while her litter sister Walkon Tantrums 'n Tiaras At Bonobo won her first RCC for both herself and her delighted owners Tracey & Jonathan!
That really just leaves Walkon Casinoroyale who has won her class on each of the three ocassions she has been shown this year, and Roamaro First Issue By Walkon who, much to our delight, won her first RCC at the Scottish Kennel Club Show in August. This was very thrilling as both First Issue and Tantrums 'n Tiaras are the first "Green Card" winners by Ch Walkon Made 'n Issue.
Congratulations must also go to Sue and Wes Larnie in Canada where they made up their second Walkon Champion - Can Ch Walkon Glenmorangie. "Glen" is the repeat mating of our own Ch Walkon Made'n Issue. Previously they made up Walkon Atomic Kitten's litter sister, Can Ch Walkon Heather Cream, so well done to all concerned!
Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Wales & Merseyside Boxer Club Championship Shows - Weekend of 19.04.08 & 20.04.08
It was a long weekend but most rewarding. The first day in Wales under all rounder Jeff Luscott, Walkon Bob The Builder started the ball rolling by winning 1st Minor Puppy Dog. The girls won a couple of seconds and a third but the star of the day was Ch Walkon Made'n Issue who won the Dog CC, Best of Breed & Group 2!!
With Walker working Margaret, our Kennel Manager and main stay, had travelled with me and we left Wales for Liverpool. In dogs, under Mandy Laidlaw, Ch Walkon Made'n Issue again won Open Dogs with Walkon Bob The Builder coming 4th in his Minor Puppy Dog class. Bitches were judged by Norweigian Judge Knut Anderson who placed Walkon Atomic Kitten 1st in Post Graduate Bitch the biggest class of the day & her last win before now moving up to Limit! Walkon Bunny Girl & Roamaro First Issue By Walkon had excellent 2nd,s in very strong classes with Walkon Bunny Hugger winning 3rd.
However the star of the show was without doubt Maggie & John Knight's Walkon Surely Not For Sarsbrook who won both the CC & Best Of Breed for a somewhat overwhelmed Maggie!! "Well done from all of us at Walkon!

Scottish Boxer Club Championship Show 16.03.08
We only showed two dogs at the show, Ch Walkon Made'n Issue who won Open Dog, the RCC and was also Best Head In Show. In addition his son Walkon Bob The Builder made his first appearance, tail and all, qualifying for Crufts with a 2nd in Minor Puppy Dog.
CRUFTS 09.03.08
As always it is a long day at Crufts but very rewarding once again this year. The judges were both well known and experienced breed specialists - Janice Mair, who judged bitches, and Pam Broughton who judged dogs.
Last year the star of the show, for us was, Walkon Bunny Girl who won her 1st CC. This year it was the turn of her children, Walkon Atomic Kitten who won Mid Limit Bitch and was in the last 4 for the CC and Walkon Bunny Hugger who won Puppy Bitch and thrilled us by going on, with the dog judges agreement, to be Best Puppy In Breed!
Her half sister Roamaro First Issue By Walkon was 3rd in a strong Junior Bitch class, so it was a good day for the girls!
Ch Walkon Made'n Issue put in a good performance to win 3rd in Open Dog a strong class at the best of times and especially at Crufts!
The Boxer Event 01.03.08
This is the highlight of the Boxer year when the Top Puppies and Top Adults from 2007 compete for the title of Pup or Dog of the Year. This year we had two puppies qualified, Walkon Casinoroyale and Roamaro First Issue By Walkon who was 3rd Best Puppy Bitch.
We had four qualified in the adult competion including Ch Walkon Made'n Issue who was 3rd Best Dog
The bitches were represented by Walkon Bunny Girl, Walkon Atomic Kitten & Ch Walkon Ain't No Saint whom we left at home as she was in season.
In addition the Annual Awards were presented with Ch Walkon Made'n Issue winning the British Boxer Club's award for Top Boxer 2006 as well as the Boxer Quarterly Award for Top Dog 2007. We were also delighted to win once again Top Breeder 2007 from the Boxer Quarterly.
The whole evening was rounded off with a great dinner dance and a big thank you to all the folks that put in the hard work that goes into organising such an event!
Midland Boxer Club Championship Show 16.02.08
This was our first Show of the year after a couple of months break which was thoroughly enjoyed by dogs and humans! Ch Walkon Made'n Issue was 4th in Open Dog under Dutchman, Roel Venema while the bitches were judged by Dawn Pilling.
Roamaro First Issue By Walkon won Junior Bitch, her first class out of puppy so we were thrilled. Walkon Atomic Kitten was 3rd in Post Graduate Bitch but won Best Headed Bitch In Show!. Not to be outdone her mum, Walkon Bunny Girl, showing with undiminished enthusiasm was 1st in Open Bitch.
News for 2007
It has been three months since I last updated this page so will summarise the last quarter of 2007. Walkon Bunny Girl won her 2nd CC at the Trent Boxer Club in October under breed specialist Mandy Laidlaw and a 3rd RCC at the Cotswold Boxer Club in December under all rounder Frank Kane. Having won her way into Open she continued to be placed in the first three on all but one occasssion!
Her daughter Walkon Atomic Kitten was also never out the first three in her classes and added a 4th RCC to her tally at Midland Counties in October under breed specialist Julie Brown.
Meanwhile "Bunny's" latest daughter Walkon Bunny Hugger made her debut in October. She was placed on every outing along with her litter sister Walkon Tantrums And Tiaras At Bonobo and both have qualified for Crufts 2008 on several occassions.
Roamaro First Issue By Walkon has never been out the first three in her puppy classes at Championship Shows and despite only one class as a minor puppy finished the year, along with Walkon Casinoroyale as one of the UK Top Puppies and qualifiers for the Mancunian Boxer Club Pup Of The Year competition.
Ch Walkon Made'n Issue added a 6th RCC to his tally at Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Scotland in November under breed specialist Stuart Lockwood-Brown and finished 2007 as Top Boxer Dog. Along with Ch Walkon Ain't No Saint, Walkon Bunny Girl & Walkon Atomic Kitten he has qualified for the Cotswold Boxer Club's Dog Of The Year competition which will be held on the 1st March along with the Pup Of the Year, so it will be a full car heading south that day!!
All in all it has been a remarkable year for the kennel and although spearheaded by Made'n Issue's success, the girls have played their part to win us a staggering 12 CC's, 10 Best Of Breed, 11 RCC's, a Group 2, a Group 3, 1 Best Puupy In Breed, 1 Best Minor Puppy In Breed and 2 Best Puppy Bitch awards all at Championship Shows.
Consequently we are very proud to have achieved two awards for Top Breeder 2007.
Just before the end of 2007 Walker finally achieved one of his long held ambitions....to own a Bulldog! "Chippi" - Shiloh Chip'n Pin At Walkon arrived in December and has stolen all our hearts. She is the most delightful character, lives with the house dogs, nursemaids the Boxer puppies and generally rules the roost! No matter how bad your day is she brings a smile to your face.
By mid October we had experienced our first litters of puppies with tails, since the docking ban came into effect in April. We currently have a dog and a bitch both of who are very proud of their new appendages!
"The Irish Weekend!" - The Irish Boxer Club Championship Show (29.09.07) & Belfast Championship Show (30.09.07)
This is always a great social weekend and a chance to catch up with friends old and new. We took a cake and a few glasses of wine to the Boxer Club Show to celebrate Ch Walkon Ain't No Saint gaining her title last week and had more to celebrate when Ch Walkon Made'n Issue won his 11th CC & Best In Show under breed specialist Lesley Wearing! Just as thrilling was, his first daughter in the ring, Roamaro first Issue By Walkon winning 1st in Puppy Bitch while Walkon Casinoroyale & Walkon Atomic Kitten were 2nd in Maiden and Post Graduate Bitch respectively. Walkon Bunny Girl was 4th in a strong Open Bitch class.
Next day at Belfast with breed specialist Frank Wildman officiating it was Ch Walkon Made'n Issue's turn to be 4th, in the Open Dog class, with Walkon Atomic Kitten winning Post Graduate bitch. Roamaro First Issue By Walkon was 3rd in Puppy bitch while Ch Walkon Ain't No Saint won the RCC from the Open Bitch class.
I have not had time to do any further work on the link from Ch & Irish Ch Blueprint Beern Skittles At Walkon page to his Champion and CC or RCC winning children (both at home and overseas). It is still my intention to do the same for our other stud dogs but I am still missing some information and photographs, so if anyone can help please let me know.
Driffield Championship Show (21.09.07)
The day could not have been better and despite the relentless rain our spirits could not be dampened when Ch Walkon Ain't No Saint gained that most difficult 3rd CC to become the 17th UK Walkon Champion!. One of the most consistent winning bitches over the last 12 months we felt all her hard work was justified. Our thanks to all the judges for her placings and in particular to Stuart Mallard, Terry Thorn and Margaret Wildman for her three CC's not forgetting Rita Williams and Albert Wight for her two RCC's.
Blackpool Championship Show (24.06.07) to Richmond Championship Show (08.09.07)
It is always a struggle to keep the news page up to date when the summer shows come thick and fast, to say nothing of being of on holiday but the last two months have been very rewarding with Ch Walkon Made’n Issue currently Top Dog being awarded the British Boxer Club’s Trophy for Top Boxer 2006. He has had a great run since Blackpool in June, winning all bar 2 of his 10 classes and adding a further 4 CC’s all with Best of Breed, 2 RCC’s and Group 2 & Group 3 placings, at East of England and Richmond Championship Shows respectively, to his tally.
The girls have not let us down either. Walkon Bunny Girl returned to the ring at the end of June, for the first time since her super win at CRUFTS, and has been placed in the first three in Limit Bitch on every occasion. Having won her way out of Limit she now joins Walkon Ain’t no Saint in Open who likewise has rarely been out the first two all summer.
The youngsters have also continued their winning ways with Walkon Atomic Kitten being 1st or 2nd in all but one of her Yearling or Graduate classes, picking up her 3rd RCC at Paignton Championship show under all rounder Steve Hall, in July.
Walkon Casinoroyale has been in the first 4 in every one of her puppy classes and also had a great day at Paignton where she was Best Puppy In Breed.
Last but not least our latest addition to the show team, Roamaro First Issue By Walkon made her debut at The City Of Birmingham Championship Show at the beginning of September and was 5th in Minor Puppy Bitch, showing like a veteran! “Ishy” as we call her is the first of Ch Walkon Made’n Issue’s pups to enter the ring. We mated him to our Ch Roamaro Razzle Dazzle For Walkon and are delighted with the result. Keep an eye out for her on the The Current Show Team page.
Border Union Championship Show (17.06.07)
Just when we thought things could not get much better they did!! Today the judge was breed specialist Carol Chippendale who not only awarded Ch Walkon Made'n Issue the CC and Best of Breed from the Open Class but completed our day when his half sister Walkon Atomic Kitten then won Junior Bitch class and the Reserve Bitch CC!! Walkon Casinoroyale was 3rd in her first puppy class and Walkon Ain't No Saint 2nd in Open Bitch.
Three Counties Championship Show (13.06.07)
After almost a month's break it was a mid week trip to Malvern for the Three Counties Show where it was a day of mixed weather and fortunes. Roamaro Knot To Be Mist At Walkon picked up a respectable 5th in Post Graduate Dog while Ch Walkon Made'n Issue enterd in Open dog today was 4th. Walkon Casinoroyale kept the flag flying for the girls again winning Minor Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy Bitch while Walkon Atomic Kitten was 3rd in Junior Bitch and Walkon Ain't No Saint had a good 2nd in strong competition in Open Bitch.
Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show (18.05.07)
Despite the awful weather and dreadful conditions for dog showing what a day it turned out to be! I cannot remember when we last went to a show and won every class we were entered in, so a big thanks to judge Paul Harding for the complement he paid our dogs.
The day started well when Ch Walkon Made'n Issue won Yearling Dog and then much to our delight went on to win his 5th CC and Best of Breed
Walkon Casinoroyale was next in the ring and once again won the Minor Puppy Bitch class. Walkon Atomic Kitten then won Novice Bitch and Walkon Ain't No Saint completed a memorable day winning Open Bitch.
Tyne, Wear & Tees Boxer Club Championship Show (05.05.07)
A great day was had by all!
For the bitches, Walkon Casinoroyale kept up her consistent performane with a 2nd in Minor Puppy Bitch. Walkon Atomic Kitten won Novice Bitch and Walkon Ain't No Saint was 2nd in Open Bitch and shortlisted for the CC.
Not to be outdone Ch Walkon Made'n Issue won Yearling Dog and went on, to our absolute delight, to win the CC & Best In Show!
WELKS Championship Show (29.04.07)
On Sunday we travelled back down south, to Malvern for the WELKS Championship Show which again proved to be worthwhile as Walkon Atomic Kitten won another Junior Bitch class and her first RCC under breed specialist Veronica Feaver. Not to be outdone however Walkon Casinoroyale continued her run of sucess winning Minor Puppy Bitch once again while Walkon Ain't No Saint was 2nd in Open Bitch. Keeping the side up for the boys Roamaro Knot To Be Mist At Walkon won a good Post Graduate class while Ch Walkon Made'n Issue never made the ring as he was lame on the day.
Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Wales (21.04.07) & The Merseyside Boxer Club (22.04.07) Championship Shows.
On Friday we travelled down to Chester where we spent the night before going on to Builth Wells for the Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Wales Show judged by all rounder Albert Wight. It proved to be a worthwhile journey with Walkon Atomic Kitten winning Novice Bitch and Walkon Ain't No Saint winning Open Bitch and the RCC.
Travelling on up to Haydock the dogs spent another night away from home, but seemed none the worse for their adventure as Walkon Casinoroyale won a very strong Minor Puppy Bitch class, Walkon Atomic Kitten was 2nd in Novice Bitch and Walkon Ain't No Saint again won Open Bitch!
The Northern Boxer Club Championship Show (07.04.07)
Rita Williams judged dogs today, having judged bitches last week, with the task of judging the bitches falling on another breed specialist Betty MacDonald.
Ch Walkon Made'n Issue won Junior Dog and was shortlisted in the last 4 for the CC while Roamaro Knot To Be Mist At Walkon was 3rd in the Post Graduate Dog class.
We were equally thrilled in bitches when Walkon Casinoroyale once again won Minor Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy Bitch while, Walkon Atomic Kitten like her half brother won the Junior class and was shortlisted in the last 4 for the CC.
Walkon Ain't No Saint was 3rd in Open Bitch.
The Mancunian Boxer Club Championship Show (01.04.07)
It may have been April Fools day but it was a very sucessful one for us! Both dogs Ch Walkon Made'n Issue and Roamaro Knot To Be Mist At Walkon won their repective classes, Junior Dog and Post Graduate Dog under breed specialist Lynette Davey.
The girls did not dissapoint either with the baby Walkon Casinoroyale continuing her sucessful debut with a 4th in Minor Puppy Bitch, Walkon Atomic Kitten winning Junior Bitch and Walkon Ain't No Saint winning the RCC from the Open Class, under breed specialist Rita Williams, so a good day was had by all!
The Scottish Boxer Club Championship Show (18.03.07)
One of our nearer shows it was an ideal first show for the latest addition to our show team Walkon Casinoroyale. At 6 months and 4 days it was a very new experience for "Casi" but she took it all in her stride and loving every minute of it won 1st Minor Puppy Bitch under breed specialist Lesley Boyle and Best Minor Puppy In Show.
No one went cardless with Walkon Atomic Kitten and Roamaro Knot To Be Mist At Walkon picking up 4th's and Walkon Ain't No Saint getting a good 2nd in Open Bitch. It was a good day also for Ch Walkon Made'n Issue who won Junior Dog and was in the last three for the CC.
WOW what a day Crufts was! (09.03.07)
We travelled down to Birmingham on Thursday afternoon and stayed in a hotel next to the NEC. The alarm woke us at 5.45am and we never stopped for the rest of the day. Dressed and showered we had the dogs walked and fed by 6.45am and were in Crufts with four of the five dogs on their benches by 7.20am. Just as well because when Walker made his second trip to the car park to pick up Walkon Bunny Girl at 7.30am, it was getting very busy.
Everyone was washed and polished by about 8am giving us time for a quick look round (our only chance of the day) before judging started at 9am. We then collected a rosette and crystal glass for Ch Walkon Made'n Issue's, Our Dogs/Pedigree Chum award for Top Boxer Puppy 2006 before returning to the benches for a quick coffee.
First in the ring was Walkon Atomic Kitten who continued her sucess of 2006 with a 1st in a super, strong Junior Bitch class of 21 under breed specialist Arthur Butters (Mindenwood Boxers).
Handing "Tomi" over to Walker, for the judge to do his critique, I ran from the bitch ring with Walkon Made'n Issue to show under Christine Beardsall (Newlaithe Boxers). He showed to perfection and powered round the ring as he does finishing 2nd in a Junior Dog class of 18.
Next up in the same ring was Roamaro Knot To Be Mist At Walkon who did not disgrace himself with a very extrovert performance and a well earned 4th place in a Post Graduate Dog class of 16.
Walkon Ain't No Saint did not dissapoint either winning a lovely 3rd in an Open Bitch class with an entry of 14 including 7 Champions!
The Star of the Show for us however was Walkon Bunny Girl who showed her socks off to win Limit Bitch and then thrilled us by winning the Bitch CC & Best Bitch! She never let us down all day and powered round the ring for Best of Breed which went to the dog winner about 4pm.
Packing up and two trips back out to the car got us back on the road and we fianlly arrived home around 10.30pm very tierd but very pleased with the performance of all the dogs.
We would also like to congratulate Wes & Sue Larnie on making up their first Champion and our first Canadian Champion Can Ch Walkon Heather Cream. "Heather" is out of Walkon Bunny Girl and is the litter sister to Walkon Atomic Kitten.
"Bunny" is a daughter of Ch & Irish Ch Blueprint Beern Skittles At Walkon from one of his last litters and it was with great sadness that following his passing in September, we "lost" his son, and his first Champion, Ch Walkon Crocodiledun Dee on the 21st February. Like his father before him he was as bright as a button and only failed in the last day. Sire of 4 UK Champions and 4 Overseas Champions "Mickey" was a strong but underused stud dog, the grandfather of our lastest Champion Walkon Made'n Issue!
Finally we hope you are enjoying some of the snaps in the Walkon Scrapbook page and I have also added our Overseas Champions to the Walkon UK & Overseas Champions, CC & RCC Winners page. If anyone knows of any that I have not listed please let me know!
Last but ceratinly not least I thought thoses of you with an interest in Ch & Ir Ch Blueprint Beern Skittles At Walkon might like to read "His Story..Our Tribute" to him as it appeared in the Decebmer 2006 issue of the Boxer Quarterly Magazine - The Bundy Story
Visitors are always welcome, just contact us to arrange a time to visit and we will be delighted to spend time with you.
